For the last couple of years I've been a regular contributor for .Net Magazine. Originally approached by them in 2011 to write a series of design tutorials, I now regularly pen features for both their printed magazine, and their online offering at netmagazine.com.

Issue 237 – 'Build Off'

The title for this issue's 'build-off' feature was 'Pet Rescue Sites'. For my solution, I wanted to move away from the clinical look & feel genrally associated with this genre, and instead create something that focused on the lifestyle and stories that come with owning a dog. Issue 222 – Design a Registration Page

This was my first article for .net, a basic tutorial encouraging people to migrate from Photoshop to Fireworks. The primary focus for the tutorial was to illustrate the benefits of using Fireworks for rapid prototyping and to give a general overview of the key tools and features. Download the digital issue.

Issue 224 – Make a Scalable Newsletter

The second tutorial I created looking at basic Fireworks tools and tips, In this issue I guide people through the process of designing a simple email layout. I'm hoping to do a follow-up soon to show coding 'best practises' for Campaign Monitor newsletters. Download the digital issue.
